Course description

Introduction to Basic Anatomy and Physiology is a course that introduces students to the fundamental principles of the structures and functions of the human body. Students will explore the structures and functions of the organs and systems of a human body in four months worth live lectures.

Learning Objectives

Understand the basic concepts, principles, and relation between anatomy and physiology Familiarise with medical terminology used to describe organs, systems, functions and processes in the human body. Gain an understanding about how internal organs and systems function in the body including homeostasis, metabolism, cellular respiration, etc.
